Cut the gouda cheese into more or less large cubes. (Try to take the cheese out of the fridge a little while before to be able to handle it well).

Prepare a bowl with flour, another with bread crumbs, another with egg and another with oat flakes.

Coat the balls in the following order: flour, egg, bread crumbs, egg and oat flakes. Once they are ready, put the balls in the freezer for 15 minutes. This will prevent them from disintegrating when frying.

Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the balls and let them brown.

P.S. I fried them yesterday, but I also think they would be good in the oven.
