CREAMY PASTA WITH SHRIMP AND MUSHROOMS

Fill a pot with water and bring it to boil. We also put the shrimps in a container with hot water so that they thaw while we prepare the rest of the preparations.

Chop the mushrooms (I bought them sliced and chopped them a little so that they were small pieces) and sauté them in a frying pan with a teaspoon of olive oil. When they are golden brown add a pinch of salt, ground black pepper, Provencal herbs and garlic powder to taste, remove the mushrooms from the pan and set aside.

Add a pinch of salt and the macaroni to the pot when the water is boiling.

While the macaroni is cooking, sauté the shrimp in the same pot in which we sautéed the mushrooms and season with salt and pepper.

Once the macaroni is cooked, add it to the pan and do the same again with the mushrooms. Add the cheese spread along with a large spoonful of the pasta cooking water and stir. We can taste it and add more spices to taste, I added nutmeg and more Provencal herbs.
