Pick the figs as ripe as possible, preferably if they are already a little dirty.

Put them to dry on a tray with a rack (e.g. the oven tray, although you will not be able to use it for days). It is important that they do not touch each other.

Cover them with a net to keep insects out.

Leave them in the sun for at least 15 days, that they are dry (in a place without humidity or drafts).

Once they are dry, sprinkle them with rice flour to preserve them better. This time we did not have rice flour and we used the one we had at home.

Put them in a cardboard box and use them for other recipes (salads, chocolates...) or eat them directly.
