Preparación de la receta
1
For the AREPAS: Warm the water in the microwave for 20 seconds. In a bowl, pour the water with the salt and gradually add the corn flour until the dough is moist but not sticky. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes. Make dough balls of 80 grams (the dough is enough for 10 arepas). Shape the balls into a cake shape and it is important that they are no more than one finger thick. Heat a frying pan over medium heat with a little EVOO and cook the arepas for about 8-10 minutes on each side. They have to be golden brown but done inside so it is important to cook them slowly. When they are ready, open them on one side with a knife and fill them to taste, in this case with reina pepiada😍.
2
For the stuffing (REINA PEPIADA): Cook a chicken breast, let it cool and crumble it. Peel and mash the avocado pulp and add a few drops of lemon juice. Chop the onion and garlic finely. Mix the avocado with the onion and garlic. Add the chicken and the mayonnaise and that's it😋

➡️Curiosidad The arepas "reina pepiada" are typical of Venezuela and its name is a tribute to Susana Dujim, the first Hispanic American woman to win Miss Universe in 1955!!!! The term pepiada refers to a woman with curves.
