Chop one of the onions into small pieces and poach it with the following spices: cardamom, garlic and crushed ginger, a teaspoon of salt, the cinnamon stick and the two bay leaves.

When the chicken is seared, add the vegetables and a little water to cook everything well. Add the crushed tomato. Cook covered until the vegetables are tender. About 20 minutes.
