Soak the dates in hot water.

Grind the hazelnuts to a puree. This process will take a while. The goal is to get a fat paste, similar to peanut butter. With my grinder it is a bit difficult, because it is very big, but try it with different tools.

Mash the dates as well, until they are incorporated into the hazelnut puree.

Add the rest of the ingredients, except the cocoa, and blend everything together.

Pour the obtained mixture into the jar in which it will be kept and add the 25g of pure cocoa. Stir with the help of a spoon.

I sometimes leave a few pieces of date or hazelnut, to give texture.
