Preparación de la receta

Heat the frying pan and add the diced Serrano ham until golden brown.

Add the flour, the milk, and stir well to integrate everything until a paste is formed (depending on the amount of croquettes we want to make we can add more or less amount of flour and milk, and if we want the dough less compact we add more milk to the mixture and stir again).

Once the filling is ready, let it rest and cool, first at room temperature and then in the refrigerator.

Once the dough is well chilled, beat an egg on a plate and put breadcrumbs on another plate. Heat the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes.

While the oven is heating up, we shape the dough (as we want the croquettes to be: elongated, balls...) and we dip them first in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs, and we place them on the baking tray (on a baking paper so they do not stick to the tray).

Finally, bake for about 15 minutes on each side at 200 degrees (keep an eye on them in case they are ready earlier, as each oven is different).

When they are ready, take them out of the oven, let them cool a little and they are ready to enjoy 🥳.
