In a saucepan with oil, fry the whole garlic until they get a little color (be careful not to burn them). Pour them in a glass to beat. Then in the same pan fry the bread, when it is golden brown, add it to the bowl where we put the garlic. Add the crushed tomato and blend.

In the same pan fry the finely chopped onion, when it is getting color, add the spinach (thawed and drained) and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.

Add the chickpeas, the majado (with a finger of water so as not to waste the leftovers in the pot) and the spices and cook for about 15min. approx. over low heat and season with salt.

Serve with chopped hard-boiled egg (if you prefer the vegan option, omit the egg).
