Chop the onion, cut the tomato and sauté with EVOO in a pot, cut the garlic into thin slices and add to the sauce. In the meantime peel the shrimp and put the shells to cook with water in a second pot. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and set aside.

When the sauce is ready, add a little water (pass it through the blender, optional) and add the diced potatoes. When it is boiling add the hake in pieces and the strained shrimp peelings broth. While the ingredients are boiling and cooking, cook the clams in a frying pan with EVOO and salt until the clams open.

When the clams are ready, remove them from the shell. When the potatoes are almost ready, add the clams and the broth they have released. Then add the shrimps and once they are cooked we can serve them in deep plates.
