To make the dough, mix the precooked corn flour (I used two cups) with a little salt. The water (I put two and a half cups) must be warm, dissolve another little salt in it and mix everything well. It should be a dough that does not stick to the hands and firm texture.

Once it is done, we shape it into balls about the size of an egg. And with the same hand we flatten and shape the arepa. They should be plump as in the picture. Photo.

Then you only have to put a couple of drops of oil in the pan and cook them on both sides. They should be golden brown. Then with a serrated knife cut them without reaching the end. And stuffed.

TRADITIONAL STUFFING: Just mix the crushed ✔️aguacate with the homemade ✔️mayonesa or an apt one and the shredded ✔️pollo. A pinch of ✔️sal, and I added chopped ✔️cilantro.

MEDITERRANEAN STUFFING : Sauté ✔️cebolla chopped, ✔️ grated tomato, ✔️tomate chopped, and ✔️champiñones portobello, put ✔️albahaca and oregano, salt. Add the ✔️pollo shredded and ready.

THAI FILLING: I have made ✔️langostinos grilled cut in half, with ✔️curry powder and added ✔️brócoli raw cut small. And I have poured some water to create steam, put a lid on top to cook it together. Also I have added a kind of ✔️🌸PASTA/CREAM THAI🌸 Recipe in my profile or in the recipe section (under sauces) under that name.

FRESH FILLING (MY FAVORITE): This is eaten cold, ✔️tomate chopped, ✔️col chopped, ✔️pollo frayed, ✔️Rabanitos chopped, ✔️cilantro chopped, all together and then I add ✔️salsa of yogurt.

I did not upload the quantities of the filling because I did it by eye, it's up to each one's taste. You can fill it with whatever you like 😋😋🌸
