Ingredients: - 1 250 ml glass of milk - 1 egg yolk (discard the white) - 2 Medjoul dates previously hydrated 10 minutes in hot water - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence - 1 level tablespoon of corn flour (Maizena)

Put all the ingredients together in the mixer bowl and beat the mixture well until it is perfectly integrated and smooth.

Put everything in the microwave for 2 minutes at maximum and take it out again.

Stir the mixture with a wooden spoon and you will see that it already has a good consistency. It must be stirred to bind it well and avoid possible lumps.

Microwave again for another 1 minute and remove the finished mixture and continue stirring until it has a uniform consistency and there are no lumps. You will be surprised how well the cream thickens and the smooth consistency it acquires in just a few minutes.

Once cooled, it is ready to use in your desserts or for dipping cookies or wafers. Enjoy!
