Preparación de la receta

1

You will also need 20 "wafers" for Gyoza (purchased in oriental food stores). They are not categorized in the app so I could not select them in the list of ingredients. If you dare to make them homemade, it's very easy. You will need: ☑️150 grams of flour ☑️150 ml of hot water (approx) ☑️1 pinch of salt

2

Finely chop the cabbage, spring onion and shiitake mushrooms. Grate the carrot and ginger. And cut the tofu into small cubes.

3

Put the vegetables in a wok (or frying pan if you do not have a wok). After a couple of minutes add the coriander (optional), grated ginger and soy sauce. Let it cook for another minute, stirring constantly. Turn off and add the tofu in cubes, remember that everything must be very small to be able to fill the wafers.

4

Put a spoonful of the mixture in the middle of the gyoza wafer and close it with your hands, folding it in the shape of little bags. If it does not stick well, moisten a little with water.

5

In a pot put water, a bunch of coriander and a slice of lemon or lime. When it starts to boil, place the bamboo steamer on top. Cover and leave for 8-10 minutes.

6

If you don't have a steamer or prefer to fry the gyozas: 👉🏼Fríe lightly fry the gyozas in a pan with a little sesame oil until golden brown (you can also use olive oil). 👉🏼Cuando have taken color, lower the heat, pour a glass of water and wait 3 or 4 minutes. You will know they are done because the dough is "transparent".
