Preheat the oven to 180°.

Wash, peel and cut potatoes to taste (if you want them deluxe without peeling). Keep in mind that the thickness and size will influence the oven time. I make them in wedges or sticks.

Put potatoes in a bowl and add oil, salt and spices to taste. If you have time, leave to macerate, but it is not necessary.

Grease a glass or ovenproof dish and put the mashed potatoes in it. Try to cover the whole base so that they do not clump together and cook better.

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Turn them over to cook on the other side. Add the cooked bacon/ham and cheese. Leave in the oven for the remaining 15 minutes.

If you want them to brown more, turn them up for the last 5 minutes or change the oven only from the top. Remember that each oven and potato is different, check that they do not burn.

Let it cool down... If you can! And enjoy!
