Fry the onion and garlic in a saucepan over medium-low heat with a dash of olive oil. When it is golden brown, add the pear cut into small pieces. Cook for a few minutes to soften.

Add the cooking cream and the blue cheese. Let it cook over medium heat while stirring until the cheese melts. Add salt and pepper.

Depending on the desired texture, we can add more cream or milk.

The sauce is ready and we can serve it with whatever we want. In my case, with gnocchi. To make them, we put a pan to heat over medium heat with a drizzle of oil and add the gnocchi. Stir every now and then so that they are cooked on all sides. When they are golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside they are ready.

When it is time to serve, add chopped walnuts on top.
