Boil the pasta while preparing the sauce.

Cut the onion and garlic into very small pieces and brown them in a frying pan with a little EVOO.

Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half and add them to the same pan with the onion and garlic so that everything gets colored.

Add a little salt and pepper, and let it cook until the tomatoes are poached.

Add a few basil leaves and stir so that everything takes flavor.

Add the pasta to the pan with the sauce, mix well and leave on the heat for a few more minutes (we can add a little parmesan).

Finally, add the mozzarella cheese ball on top.
