Infuse the milk with the orange peel, lemon, a little vanilla aroma (optional) and the cinnamon stick until it comes to a boil. Remove and let it warm, covering the lid so that the aromas do not evaporate.

Prepare the date puree. Cover the dates with water in a saucepan and bring them to a boil. Then we take them out and crush them.

Add this puree and the rice to the infused milk. Cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes (depending on how you see the rice), stirring every 5 minutes. If it is too dry, add a little more milk.

Once ready, remove the peels and cinnamon stick and serve. Enjoy!
