Lentils with vegetables

Preparación de la receta

1) Add in a blender glass: 1 small onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tomatoes, 1 piece of red bell pepper and add a little water to make it easier to grind.

2) In the pot we are going to use add the lentils previously washed (I use the pardina variety and it is not necessary to soak them before) I put 100gr per person.

3) Add to the lentils 1 carrot cut into slices (1cm approx) 2 potatoes cut into small cubes, a bay leaf, a teaspoon of salt, cumin to taste half a teaspoon of paprika (I use sweet paprika) add the vegetable shake we made earlier

4) Add water until it covers 3 fingers above everything in the pot.

5) We put the fire to maximum power and when it starts to boil we lower the temperature. We will put it to a temperature in which it does not stop boiling (Example: my ceramic vitro is induction I put it first to level 9 which is the maximum, and then lower it to 6).

6) In my case, the lentils are ready in 30/35 minutes. Taste them and see if they are tender, if they lack salt, etc.

7) Once they are finished, add a generous drizzle of olive oil. And now you can enjoy them!!!!! :)
