1️⃣ Put the rice and the water in a bowl suitable for microwave and put it in the microwave for 10 minutes. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Be careful not to boil the water ⚠️

2️⃣ After 10 minutes, the rice will have run out of water so add the milk (or vegetable drink), the cinnamon stick and the lemon peel. Stir and put in the microwave for another 5 minutes. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Be careful not to boil the milk ⚠️

3️⃣ Remove the bowl from the microwave and remove the cinnamon sticks and the lemon peel 🍋

4️⃣ Add a spoonful of date paste to sweeten and stir.

5️⃣ Let cool, serve in small glasses and decorate with ground cinnamon to taste.

If you want it to be even creamier, add a little more warm milk and stir.
