Preparación de la receta
1
Although it is usually made with desalted fish, I have used fresh sliced fish. They can also be fillets or frozen.
2
Pour lemon juice and pepper over the fillets or slices. Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet and heat. Add and cook onion until translucent, about 2 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and add the garlic and almonds. Add the diced tomatoes with the liquid, chiles (or padron bell pepper) and continue stirring and cooking.
3
Add the rest of the ingredients except the fish and cook 10-15 minutes over low heat.

4
Put the fish in the sauce and the filtered macerating lemon. Cook for another 5-6 minutes. I like to cook the fish just enough so that it does not dry out, but this is to taste. I have added few olives, to taste too.

5
It is a tasty, quick and uncomplicated recipe to eat fish in a different way. Enjoy 😊
