Open the figs in half and empty their interior into a frying pan.

Add tap water and a squeeze of lemon to the figs.

Let it cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally (if you don't like it with small pieces, you can blend it with a blender).

Add a tablespoon of chia seeds and stir to integrate well. The seeds will act as a thickener when the jam cools.

To keep the jam longer we put it in a glass jar, close it well and put it in a pot with boiling water for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes we remove the pot from the fire and let the water cool with the jar of jam inside, once cooled we remove the jar and we have our jam ready.
