Bring water to boil

Cut, peel and chop a piece of ginger.

Add the ginger to the boiling water.

I added some lemon juice and a couple of slices that I cut. A little bit of turmeric and some freshly ground black pepper (helps the absorption of the properties).

Boil for about 15 minutes and add honey to taste (I added it in this step to make it easier to dilute).

Let stand and cool

Strain and store in a glass bottle.

Enjoy a hot or cold cup, as you like. On an empty stomach and/or after eating.
