Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into small squares. Peel the tomato and onion and cut into quarters to give flavor (if you like more vegetables, you can add them in the same proportion).

Add the lentils (uncooked and washed, no need to soak them), all the vegetables that we have cut, the ham tips and the bay leaf.

We cover everything with water, there must be about two fingers more of water on top of everything we have poured.

Close the pot and put it at maximum power until the "pilot light" goes up, lower the power and leave it at medium temperature for 8-10 minutes more.

Once there is no steam left inside and the pilot light has gone down, open the pot and it is ready to eat.
