Naan Bread with Cheese 🧀

We start by making the naan bread dough: In a bowl add the flour, EVOO, garlic powder, yogurt and salt. Dilute the yeast in warm water and mix with the rest of the ingredients to form a dough. Sprinkle the table with a little flour and knead. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes covered with a cloth. After this time we knead the dough again on the table with flour for about 2 minutes and divide the dough into 2 parts. Stretch the dough into a round shape and let it rise for 10 minutes.

Put a little EVOO in the frying pan and mark the dough only on one side. Put in the pan one of the dough on the side that is not marked and add the cheese with the chives. Cover it with the other dough leaving the side that is not done on top. Let the bread brown over medium heat so that the cheese melts and then turn it over to cook the other side of the bread. Let it brown for a few minutes and it is ready to eat.

Optional: parsley or cilantro can be added to the bread dough. Garlic can be added naturally. The cheese can be whatever you like.
