Sauteed green beans with marinated tofu

Drain the tofu to remove excess liquid. Then we cut it into small squares. Meanwhile, bring water to boil and cook the beans for about 10 minutes.

In a frying pan with a splash of EVOO, poach the onion and when it is golden brown, add the diced tofu and sauté until golden brown.

Meanwhile, prepare the marinade. Put the soy sauce, date paste, vinegar and spices in a bowl, mix and set aside until the tofu is done.

When the tofu is almost ready, add the beans and sauté for a few minutes. Then, add the sauce. Lower the heat to the minimum and wait for the sauce to reduce.
